Terrain Park Manager
Wild Mountain Ski and Snowboard area is Terrain Park Manager will oversee the building and day-to-day maintenance of our three terrain parks. This team member will also manage approximately 10 part-time terrain park staff to help maintain and operate the parks. During the summers, this person will work on projects across the mountain with the rest of our mountain operations team. Additionally, this person is an extension of the Wild Mountain marketing department who helps procure events and guide our youth marketing campaigns. An applicant must have experience driving a snow cat and should have some knowledge with building and/or riding terrain parks. This is a full-time, year-round position that offers paid time off, volunteer time off, health benefits, health savings account contribution, matching 401K and more.
Maintenance Team Member
The Wild Mountain Maintenance Team member is responsible for any number of projects assigned on a daily level. This person will do everything from building maintenance, vehicle repair, equipment repair and snowmaking operations. This person may also be tasked to groom our trails with a snow cat during the winter months. Terrain Park Supervisor
Our Terrain Park department is seeking a Terrain Park Supervisor to support our freestyle terrain operations. This position reports to the Terrain Park Manager and Mountain Manager. This team member will help envision and build our terrain parks with the Manager. Additionally, this person will lead, schedule and coach a small terrain park crew who use hand tools to perfect our features. Although not required, an ideal candidate will be a passionate and active terrain park rider.
This team member will not be operating snowcats so no grooming or heavy equipment experience is necessary. This job is a full-time position for the winter, but could be modified to be part-time for the right candidate.
Wild Mountain is implementing ticket scanning this winter and we are searching for team members to operate our handheld scanners. These employees will greet guests as they enter our lift lines and they will scan their tickets or season passes. This is an outdoor position and a great job for our youngest applicants ages 14+.
The Ski Equipment Rentals Manager of Wild Mountain is responsible and accountable for the daily operating excellence and short and long-term success of all aspects of the ski and snowboard rentals operation.
The Ski Equipment Rentals Manager oversees a team to operate our ski and snowboard equipment department. This person will recruit, schedule and coach the team of roughly 15 people on all aspects of the equipment rental department. This position does not need previous experience in equipment rentals at a ski area, as our team will educate them on everything they need to know to be successful. This is a full-time, seasonal position which begins in November and ends in late March.
Snow Tubing Attendants
Tubing attendants work outdoors on the snow to ensure all guests have a fun and safe visit at our snow tubing park, which offers six lanes of rolling terrain over a 100-foot drop, and is serviced by a conveyor surface lift. In addition to providing exceptional guest service, tubing attendants will also assist guests with loading and unloading the conveyor, safely controlling the flow of downhill traffic, and engaging guests with enthusiasm. Having fun on the job is a requirement. This customer-facing role is perfect for the energetic, outdoors person. Tubing attendants must be at least 16 years old.
Snow Tubing Ticket Sales
Our snow tubing ticket sales team is located inside our tubing chalet. This fast-paced and versatile role is perfect for those who are positive, outgoing and energetic. In addition to providing exceptional guest service, other responsibilities include selling tickets and merchandise, answering guest questions, fulfilling online ticket orders, preparing food & beverage orders, facility cleaning, and other duties as assigned. Ticket sellers must be detail-oriented, tech savvy and be comfortable engaging with customers. Team members must be at least 16 years old to work in this position. We are especially in need of 18+, as we do serve adult beverages.
Ski Area Ticket Sales
Our ski area ticket sales team is located inside our main base lodge. This fast-paced role is perfect for those who are positive, outgoing and energetic. In addition to providing exceptional guest service, other responsibilities include selling tickets and merchandise, answering guest questions in person and over the phone, fulfilling online orders, printing season passes, administrative projects, light cleaning, and other duties as assigned. Ticket sellers must be detail-oriented, tech savvy and be comfortable engaging with customers. Team members must be at least 14 years old to work in this position.
Rental Equipment Tech
The rental equipment team is located inside our main base lodge. This technical role ensures our guests are fitted properly with equipment for their day of skiing or snowboarding. In addition to providing exceptional guest service, other responsibilities include verifying rental information, boot fitting, ski and snowboard setups, rental fleet testing and maintenance, accurate record-keeping, light cleaning, and other duties as assigned. Rental techs must be detail-oriented, quick learners and be comfortable engaging with customers of varying ski/snowboard experience levels. Training is provided. Team members must be at least 16 years old to work in this position. We are especially in need of 18+ for weekday, daytime shifts.
Lessons Administrator for Snow Sports School
Our Ski and Snowboard Lessons Administrator has a varied and diverse set of responsibilities within the Snow Sports School. This is a seasonal position and will assist the Snow Sports Manager in daily sales activities, schedule staff, administrative paperwork, and support lesson. This is a key winter position which works with guests to ensure they have the correct ski or snowboard lesson for their ability level. Additionally, the position helps match our guests with an appropriate instructor so the guest gets the most out of their day on the slopes.
Terrain Park Operations Crew
Our Terrain Park Operations Crew will help the terrain park manager build our three distinct terrain parks. These team members will use hand tools to set new feautres, and then tune and monitor features throughout the day. Additionally, these team members will work with the Terrain Park Manager to execute photo and video shoots done with both internal and third-party photographers and videographers. If our lift operations team is unable staff rope tow attendancts, these team members may be called upon to help fill those gaps. An overall pay increase has been attribute to these roles due to the increased level of responsibility in the positions.
Food & Beverage Team
Our Food and Beverage team helps support our dining operations in a number of ways. These team members do a variety of tasks including bussing tables, cash register operations, washing dishes, stocking inventory items and cleaning the dining spaces.
Wild Mountain has a brand new bar and sun deck that our guests are truly enjoying. With the new beverage areas, we are recruiting bartenders to serve drinks along with take guest orders in the new location. Good candidates will have previous bartending and food & beverage experience. This is an hourly position and will include tips. We have daytime, evening, full-time, part-time and weekend positions available.
Our chairlift operators are the highest paid ($15/hr) front line team members at Wild Mountain. And, they are the "faces" and "personalities" that our guests come to love. These employees operate our chairlift and rope tows during the winter, and interact with guests as they get on and off of the lifts. Many guests come to know the chairlift operators and enjoy their interactions with them. We have openings for full-time, part-time, day, night and seasonal employees in this department.
Snowmaking Team / Winter Maintenance & Lift Operations
Wild Mountain is seeking team members to join our maintenance department to support our winter operations. These employees will help with fall maintenance projects and then help with snowmaking operations into the winter. Upon completing snowmaking operations, these team members will either move to maintenance or lift operations department.
Conent Creator / Youth Market
Wild Mountain is searching for a driven and creative content creator to produce high-quality videos and stills for the youth market. The Content Creator will focus on terrain park content, youth marketing and other novel work to reach customers in the youth ski and snowboard market. To be successful, the content creator will need to deliver content weekly in-line with the goals established with Wild Mountain marketing initiatives. Additionally, experience with photography in manual settings and videography capture and editing are critical.
The content creator will have great freedom and creative independence to do his/her important work. This position will be paid as a freelance gig, and not as Wild Mountain employee.
Additionally, this person will also create content that is congruent with Wild Mountain’s values to reduce carbon emissions, divert waste and take planet positive actions when available.
Ski & Snowboard Instructors
Our team is seeking ski and snowboard instructors for the winter season. These team members spend their days teaching, skiing and riding with guests. No experience is required to be a ski and snowboard instructor since we are able to coach employees everything they need to know to be successful. The only requirement is the ability to ski or snowboard at an intermediate level.

Ski Race Coach
Wild Mountain has a deep history in ski racing in Minnesota. Thousands of young people have learned, grown and exceled within Wild Mountain's racing programs. Our team is currently looking for people who may want to help coach our teams. Coaching is done on weekends and there are several events in which our teams compete at other ski areas. Some ski racing experience is helpful, but not required.
Freestyle Ski & Snowboard Coaches
Wild Mountain has both a freestyle ski and freestyle snowboard team which focus on jumps and rails in our terrain parks. We are seeking both ski and snowboard coaches to help with these teams. Coaches will help guide kids in their journey in becoming better park riders. Practices take place on Sundays and there are several events which will take place at other ski areas. Coaching experience is not required but some freestyle experience is needed to be successful.
